THE ANCIENT ART OF TUNA FISHING IN CETARA

Exclusive visit on board the Tonnara, the large boat recently opened to the public dedicated to fishing for bluefin tuna and anchovies. The fishermen will explain the fishing techniques and the hundred-year-old techniques of processing products such as anchovy, bottarga and fillets. This is followed by a short guided walk the small village and tasting of typical products in a characteristic shop inside a sea – view grotto with managed by a family of bluefin tuna and anchovies fishermen for four generations, fishermen before producers, men of passion before entrepreneurs. An experience that combines history, tradition, passion and undisputed excellence.
