ESCORTED WALK IN AMALFI

Twist and Turn throughout the hidden alleys of the town which was founded in the VI sec BC. The setting of the houses was strong influenced from the Oriental side, the popular Arabian – Sicilian dominates the architecture, the Cathedral is one of the most clear example. The guided tour starts from the Arsenali, one of the most important historical place where lots of documents regarded the Maritime Republics are archived (the “tabula amalfitana”, the first international mercantile maritime laws, some examples of compasses and the “tarì”, the Amalfi currency), goes ahead throughout the alleys until the Cathedral in the main square and the paper museum.
