Seen from the sea, the Doric temples of Paestum appear as imposing, timeless guardians.
The ancient city, one of the most beautiful of Magna Graecia, was founded by the Greeks in around 600 BC, and named Poseidonia.
It is situated a few kilometres to the south of the Amalfi Coast and to the north of the Cilento coast.
The trip includes the visit to the archaeological area, with the Temple of Hera, the Temple of Ceres, the amphitheatre used for public combat, and the Forum, the hub of commercial activity. To follow a break for lunch at a popular farm where the buffalo mozzarella is produced.
